My Adventures!!!

These are my adventures of living on my own and fulfilling my calling of working for the church and being a teacher. Let's see how it goes!

Oh my it's December already!

I was told that I needed to do another post, so I will try to catch everyone up from my last post (since it was awhile ago).

Thanksgiving happened. I went to Phoenix to see my family. I think it was the first time that we were in Phoenix for Thanksgiving. It was great to see family since we only see them once a year. Had some great times with my grandparents and aunts, uncles and cousins. Also some bad times...University of Arizona lost the Duel in the Desert against their arch rival Arizona State University. It was a sad and very embarassing few hours.
We have had a bit of a cold spell here, but today it was almost 80 degrees. Honestly this past week has not been that exciting. It is really weird here because the sun starts going down around 4:30. The day goes by so fast because there seems to be less hours of light. So by the time I get home from work the sun is already going down. I have spent a lot of time just reading because it was dark and cold.

Today in math we put up a Days til Break countdown. We have 14 school days. It seems like this semester has gone by so fast. Well not technically a whole semester, but at least I don't have to make a semester final before Christmas. I can't believe that there are only 20 days until Christmas. And that means that I will be going home for 2 whole weeks!

This coming week I have three US2 appearances at different churches. I go say a little something and they give me gifts for the girls' Christmas. I have also made a wish list on http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/registry.html/105-9775445-2749263?ie=UTF8&type=wishlist&id=270VO20EQFLXH for books that I think the girls might like to read.

Well hopefully the next 20 days are more eventful than the past 20 days.
grace and peace

Thanks for the update! You sound like quite the experienced pro now! You can speak at our UMC too if you want to come visit - well maybe later when you need a break from those nice sunny days. Take care! P&W

I don't know if I've told you, but I've been highly complimented - even given tips for my pole dancing skills...

One of your pictures makes it look like you've tried it...any tips?
